IPA office update: Progress on the IPA’s approach with sustainability is tracking steadily.

The key focus now is the preparation of a sustainability special edition of Public Accountant, which is slated for the August/September issue. This will be a great conversation-starter and begin to align sustainability with the IPA brand. 

《公共会计师》会刊正在筹划可持续发展特刊，该特刊预计在8/9月发行。它将是一个很好的对话起点，将可持续性与IPA的品牌相互结合。

At head office, some new bins have arrived that will be used to create four new waste stations around the office. More information on this will be provided once we can return on-site. I’ll be sure to get in touch with other state offices soon to see what could work in your respective spaces as well.

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: If you have ever heard the acronym ‘SDGs’ and not known what it refers to, here is a quick overview. 

联合国可持续发展目标。如果你曾经听说过 "SDG "这个缩写，但不知道它指的是什么，这里有一个简单的概述。

The SDGs are a fixture in the strategy and corporate reporting of many private sector entities, as they are recognisable and demonstrate an alignment with the broader global sustainability initiative. The SDGs comprise of 17 ambitious goals to essentially achieve a better and more equitable world for both present and future generations. 

可持续发展目标是许多私营企业有关战略和企业报告中的固定内容，因为目标的可识别性，且表明了与全球可持续发展倡议相一致。可持续发展目标由17个雄心勃勃的项目组成，主要目的是为当下与未来实现一个更好、更公平的世界。

The goals include ‘no poverty’, ‘good health and wellbeing’, ‘good education’, ‘gender equality’, ‘decent work and economic growth’, ‘climate action’, and more.
